Our scraper chains for the mining industry feature a meticulously designed structure. The chain links are forged from high-strength alloy steel, typically containing elements like chromium, molybdenum, and nickel. These alloying elements enhance the links strength, toughness, and wear resistance. The forging process endows the links with a dense internal structure and precise dimensions. They are connected by high-strength pins, also made of alloy steel and surface hardened, ensuring reliable and flexible connections. The scrapers, mostly made of wear-resistant alloys such as high-chromium cast iron with a chromium content ranging from 12% to 30%, possess excellent abrasion resistance due to the hard carbides formed by chromium and carbon, enabling them to effectively handle the harsh conditions and heavy loads in mining operations.
